I really wanted to love this bible. I've waited months for this bible to be released with wide margins for note taking and a bit larger print than the previous version.What I like:-The cover is soft.-The font size is as expected.-The overall size is as described, although it still seems thicker than I expected - almost too big to carry to church but not quite.What I don't like:-The cream colored pages are much darker than expected...more like café con leche with a little extra milk. I prefer the white pages in the "Beautiful Word" edition. Attached is a photo that shows the contrast next to a white sheet of paper.-The print from the next page appears as shadows on the previous side.I bought this bible for note taking, not painting or coloring, but I do use ZIG markers and they do not bleed through the pages when writing with the .05 point or highlighting with the broad yellow tip. However, the broad tip does bleed through when drawing/coloring if you leave the marker in one spot for too long. I expect any artistic work would run the risk of the color of the pages interfering with the color you're intending.
I love this bible! It has a great feel to it, hard to describe. The pages do bleed through but most bibles do. I also like that the books and chapters are at the end of the page which helps when looking for a passage. I'm very happy with it.
Love this. The print is a bit small for an older person but nothing glasses can't fix.
